Dry January has been cancelled due to lack of interest!

You'll probably have read, or seen that there's not much interest in Dry January this year. “Dry January” is a month when many people voluntarily stop drinking alcohol after the excesses of December and start the new year on a sober, clearer, more refreshed and healthy note.
But booze is a depressant - and it is a strange time to be inviting more of that into our lives just now. But if you are having an elongated Christmas - here's a few things you can do to be kinder to your body:
1. Get your 8 glasses of water into you - often when you're 'dying for a G&T'/glass of wine, you're actually just thirsty
2. Or is it the sugar? Try a T&T - tonic, ice, lime, more tonic - a lot of what feels good about it is the feeling, the fizz and the sugar
3. Use a measure. If you don't have a measure at home - get one. Free-handed is generally heavy-handed.
4. Add some fruit. It's not going to be one of your five-a-day but even a small amount of fruit brings more wellbeing to the body. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, melon, strawberries. Use what you have if it feels like it will fit.
5. Add some botanicals. Pepper goes with almost everything and has a host of medicinal benefits - so add some black or red peppercorns. If you don't want them floating around, press them into the fruit you're using. A spring of Rosemary is a winner. Add Juniperberries to your gin. If it's a hot drink - cloves, star anise, a cinnamon stick, all work great.
3. Oil up. Though we're not detoxing yet, if you are abstaining from abstaining then use your Yogandha Detox morning and evening. It's nice to squirt some onto a body brush for a morning body-buff. And in evening - rub on all over to give all your detox organs some support while you sleep.
