It is thought that Christopher Columbus introduced bergamot to Europe. It takes its name from the town of northern Italy where the rich soil creates the perfect nutrients and the best bergamot is still grown today. Bergamot lifts the spirits and eases tension. it has an affinity with the heart chakra.
Our bergamot is organic and comes from a fair trade community co-operative in Italy.
